SQM
Provides Unbiased Evaluation of Operations
TORONTO - For those companies seeking an unbiased evaluation of
their operations in the hope of improving productivity, efficiency
and profitability, Sensors Quality Management Inc. (SQM) shares
their mandate.
This Toronto-based company conducts independent evaluations of
business operations to ensure that the policies and procedures agreed
upon by an organization are, in fact, being followed
It makes its services available to all industries, but specializes
in the hospitality field - a suitable place to focus its interests
since owners Craig Henry and David Lipton both attended the School
of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Toronto's Ryerson Polytechnic
University and have worked independently within the hospitality
and tourism industry.
SQM evaluates businesses through a variety of methods including
unannounced site visits and telephone calls. Once it has completed
its evaluation it provides the client with a written report including
a transcript, an audio cassette, and recommendations.
Observations are used to isolate areas requiring attention or change
and to help identify employees' strengths and weaknesses. SQM reports
that this may help the client determine areas in which further employee
development is required.
SQM offers both custom designed programs to meet clients' specific
needs and standardized packages to help them minimize costs. It
also provides consulting services upon request and makes its services
available world-wide.
